The notebook is full of many kind of notebooks and use has much more options to choose from today than before. I went in the market to buy a notebook for my personal use and the things that I consider were, I am not going to play games on my notebook so Intel HD graphics would be enough so I concentrate to get a better CPU and as I like the mobility that is why I choose SSD as storage solution, USB 3.0 is necessary along with Ethernet port should be included but the main important thing is battery life. I mention these things for just to give you an idea on how to group 3 or 4 notebooks which matches you criteria most. Today we are going to review an HP notebook. Asus is famous for its notebooks of wide variety with best build quality and performance. Today we will review Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE which is Intel CPU based notebook.

The net weight of the Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE is about 1.5 kg which is quite good for mobility. The usual soft area are managed well in Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE’s case and especially area above the optical drive is pretty good. The problem that we find is that bottom side has some softness and that is not good regarding build quality. The hinges are pretty good to handle the lid and lid itself build quite well. The overall metallic look makes Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE very attractive. Overall Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has good design and decent build quality.

The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has 13.3 inch display which is basically IPS panel display screen with LED backlight. This IPS display offers max resolution of 1920x1080. This matte surface display has aspect ratio of 16:9. The brightness is consistent and it is pretty decent but still not as good as we expect from IPS displays. The contrast ratio is pretty good and you can’t complaint about this. The image quality is fantastic as expected. The picture is very good and suitable for the professionals. The viewing angles of this IPS panel display are pretty good. The reflection is not a problem in outdoor work and Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE can be used outdoor without any problem. The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE is a 13.3-inch ultrabook so you can’t expect to have a full size keyboard. Samsung focus the surface and responsiveness of the keys. The keyboard has backlighting as well which helps in the night time work. The keyboard is pretty good and keys are fairly large. The keys are pretty responsive and accurate. The touchpad is of large size regarding 13.3-inch total size of Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE. The click keys are integrated and whole touchpad can be used for left click and bottom area can be used for right click as usual. The multi-gesture feature is also supported. The touchpad is also pretty good and responsive. Overall Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has good keyboard and touchpad.

The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has JBL manufactured speakers and its not first time when Samsung used JBL speakers for sound solution in its notebooks. The speakers are located on the bottom side. The speakers has good loud volume and sound quality is also pretty good. The base is shaky. The JBL speakers done really well in our tests. Overall Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has good speakers.

The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has pretty good low temperatures of areas, surface and components inside. The temperatures are good to use the Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE on the lap during the idle working. The temperatures raise rapidly and they are not comfortable for the usage on the lap. They raise near to the danger level to use on the lap so we recommend to do not use this ultrabook on the lap. The temperatures are not dangerous for the notebook itself and still it can be use on the table. The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE remain quiet during the idle working and you can’t hear the noise of the fan in normal working time but the 2 fans never turn off. The noise was loud in the load/ stress test and it was loud but still not much distracting. Overall Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE remain quiet but not cool.

The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has pretty good connectivity options for the users as it has Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi for high speed wire free connectivity. The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has AC-in, 1x USB 3.0, RJ45, 1x audio port, HDMI and (VGA via adaptor) on the left side. It has card reader, 2x USB 2.0 and Kingston lock port on the right side. As Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE is a ultrabook so optical drive is not available due to its slim design. Overall Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has pretty good connectivity options.

The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has 57watts, 4 cell Lithium-ion based battery which manage to keep it running for about 477 minutes during our battery life test which is pretty good. We measure the battery life by running all the tasks which a normal user runs on his notebook as Microsoft Office work, Typing while listening audio songs, watching HD movie/ clips, surfing web via Wifi, Copying files from HDD to HDD and from USB flash drive etc. to get the most realistic result instead of running any battery life benchmarks. Overall Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE has pretty nice battery life.

The Samsung Series 7 Ultra 730U3E-S04DE offers pretty good connectivity options and it has Intel CPU with dedicated AMD GPU as well as 256GB Samsung SSD.
