There are many laptops are in the market and especially the thinner ones are the mainly sold products these days which are also known as ultrabooks and in this summer people had wide variety to choose from, for example all the brands had introduced many ultrabooks and they are still doing that so people have more options to use. The ultrabooks are light weight as well as they last long so if you had a notebook which last for 6 or 7 hours easily then you don’t have to remain around the power socket. Acer had its own name in the market regarding their Aspire G series which are ultimate choice of gamers and professionals as well so Acer had launch their new Acer Aspire V3-772G which has some really great feature including new Intel 4th Gen Core i7 Processor so lets check it out.

The Acer Aspire V3-772G has pretty much same case as the Acer Aspire V3-771G has and there are minor changes which can be seen but the main structure is pretty same. The palm rest area has some changes like, the surface is change now, there is not plastic surface and Acer decides to go with brushed aluminum surface and the cover also had that brushed surface as well. The hinges are good but feels to be tighter more than enough so both hand will be used to open up the lid. The base unit is made of plastic as usual with Acer notebooks. The case some softness as lid and upper right area of keyboard. Overall Acer Aspire V3-772G has good design and build quality.

The Acer Aspire V3-772G has 17.3-inch TN LED panel display screen which offers max resolution of 1920x1080. The display screen has pretty good surface to decrease the reflection and the contrast ratio is also pretty good and max brightness is also pretty suitable as well. As Acer Aspire V3-772G is an all-rounder notebook so resolution is perfect for the competitor at this price level. The main problem that we noticed is brightness is not consistent across the screen as low brightness can be seen near the right and bottom edges of the display. The image quality is just decent which is not acceptable at this price level. The horizontal viewing angles are acceptable but the vertical viewing angles are not good as they had to be so outdoor work is not easy. Overall Acer Aspire V3-772G has poor display screen.

The keyboard is of pretty large size and the black color scheme is a good match for overall color and design. The keys are of pretty good size but the arrow keys are not upto the mark as their size is small and that may cause problem of miss tap as they are pretty close to each other. The keys are responsive and we had no problem while typing test. The touchpad is also has large size and its basically clickpad as we had seen these kind of touchpad is many ultrabooks. The surface is good for gliding fingers and it is responsive in normal and multi-gesture operations. Overall Acer Aspire V3-772G has good keyboard and touchpad.

The Acer Aspire V3-772G has produce low noise when we were using it with normal tasking and the notebook remain quiet in the normal test. The noise was raised in the benchmarks and gaming but still, it was under the annoying level or disturbance level. During the HD movie playback, notebook remain un-noticed regarding noise which is good and during gaming , the noise was not distracting. The temperatures of the notebook, all around and components were low during the normal working and you can use it on the lap but not during the heavy working or gaming as temperature raised to problematic level during gaming which is not suitable for lap use and in the summer, notebook cooler will be required to use Acer Aspire V3-772G. Overall Acer Aspire V3-772G remain quiet but not cool.

The Acer Aspire V3-772G has pretty good connectivity options as it has latest high speed Bluetooth 4.0 module and WiFi for high speed wireless connectivity. The Acer Aspire V3-772G also has 2x USB 2.0, 2x audio ports, AC-in and optical drive on the right side. It has Kingston lock, Ethernet port and VGA, HDMI and 2x USB 3.0 ports on the left side as well. The Acer Aspire V3-772G has all the necessary connectivity options that anyone may need in today’s world so Overall Acer Aspire V3-772G has great connectivity options.

The Acer Aspire V3-772G has 6 Cells, 48 watts Lithium-ion based battery which manage to keep Acer Aspire V3-772G running for about 251 minutes which is pretty good. We measure battery life of notebook by running all the normal task as Microsoft Office work, photo editing, HD movie/ clips, audio songs etc. and some gaming as well to get the realistic timings which is applicable in the real life instead of doing battery benchmarking which are far away from real life. Overall Acer Aspire V3-772G 2013 has good battery life.
