Fujitsu Lifebook u772 Ultrabook Review + BenchMark

Fujitsu is new competitor in the notebook/ultrabooks market and they are seems to launch goods product in the market where Top brands like ASUS,ACER,HP,DELL are fighting for 1st position in the market and when you see Fujitsu Lifebook U772 ultrabook there is one thing that will comes in your mind first of all and that is "Awesome" and yes, thats true.Fujitsu Lifebook U772 is ultra ultra thin.An image appears in your mind when you imagine about your personal ultrabook and Fujitsu Lifebook U772 seems absolutely like that.Fujitsu Lifebook U772 is much much slim and stylish as looking.Lifebook U772 is quite similar to the silver variant of the Sony VAIO Z13 (SVZ13114GXX) , with a lightweight three-pound magnesium alloy frame, sliver-thin profile, and sharp squared-off corners. With nearly identical dimensions of 0.69 by 12.87 by 8.85 inches (HWD), the two are quite similar, save for the Sony Z13's back-hinge mounted feet and lighter weight (2.58 pounds).The glass-covered display has standard 1,366-by-768 resolution, but offers deeper blacks and richer color than most. The glass-surfaced display makes for better darks and colors, but
it also makes the display reflective, causing issues while using the ultrabook outdoors or in direct light. The thin bezel also allows the 13-inch ultrabook to house a 14-inch (diagonal) display. The U772 even manages well the test that has taught many lightweight notebooks the meaning of fear - the opening test. A tiny recess is on the lid's center front edge and intuitively indicates where the laptop can be best opened. The lid opens very easily - even with only one hand without lifting the base for one second - great! When the display is brought into position, it usually stays there immediately and stably without rocking for a long period. The long hinge's stability is immediately noticed when adjusting the opening angle precisely. The maximum opening
angle of 155° is just as thrilling.Fujitsu installs everything of distinction among interfaces. For example, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI socket and the mini RJ45 port as well as an SD-XC card reader are on the case's right. The power socket, Kensington lock slot, one USB 2.0 port and headphone jack are on the left. Additionally, a SIM card for the built-in UMTS modem can be inserted at the rear below the display hinge.Since Fujitsu has primarily designed the Lifebook U772 for business customers, a docking port is also installed on the bottom and allows adding other interfaces via a docking station. Thus it is probably ahead of many competitors in this device category because they usually omit this expansion option. You can
connect to wired LAN not only via the included RJ45 dongle, but also wirelessly via WLAN (b/g/n - 2 x 2 Centrino 6205N) or UMTS (Sierra Wireless Gobi 3000). Intel's WLAN solution also supports the proprietary Wireless Display technology, which transmits screen content to monitors/projectors/flat screens that support this technology without cables. Bluetooth 4.0 is also on board. There are no visible screws on the Lifebook U772 and thus you cannot access the hardware on your own. Fujitsu has equipped the Lifebook U772 with a 2GHz Intel Core i7-3667U dual-core processor and 4GB of RAM. The resulting
performance is strong enough for even demanding professional applications, but falls short of quad-core-equipped competitors. There's a single cooling exhaust vent on the left side of the notebook. The good news is that most of the time it stays off; this notebook produces little heat except when watching HD video.
The fan gets rather noisy when it turns on however; it has a slight whine and can be heard across a medium size room.Fujitsu LifeBook U772 Ultrabook is really a good step in the market where US,ACER,HP,DELL are domineting and we expect good notebooks/ultrabooks from Fujitsu in future.so Fujitsu LifeBook
U772 Ultrabook is v.good but not a best performer, its very thin, light weight and mobility for people who travels a lot. specially students.
