The technology is at its peak these days if we compare it to the past. The PCs are faster, compact and cooler than the past as well and the people have more choices when they went to the market and also now they can bought the their PC after specifically choosing almost all the components of it as mostly manufacturer gives the facility to customize their product when shopping online. Samsung has a great reputation in the market, not only because of just PCs but also for wide variety of their product with the one common thing in all of them, “Reliability”. Today we are going to take a look at Samsung performance laptop which is their new laptop in the Samsung Series 7, it is Samsung Series 7 700Z5C.

Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has great silver dark design which is common b/t the all the Samsung Series 7 laptops and the body of Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has been made with aluminum and the nice brushed aluminum made base is just perfect and match the overall design of the Samsung Series 7 700Z5C. As it is the new model in the Samsung Series 7 and it has to be the best and better than the previous model, in the design section. It is not different than the previous models and has all the good things as well as some bad things as it is a little soft or you can say, its not strong enough on the side which is not good for mobility because side are impacted mostly when we carry our laptop outside. Overall the design is good .

The Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has a Core i7 3615 quad mobile processor which is running at 2.3 Ghz and it has 8GB of 1600 Mhz, DDR3 memory and also for graphics power, it has Nvidia GT 640m with 1GB GDDR5 memory as well. The spec are good enough for doing any task efficiently and quickly. When it comes to storage, the Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has a Seagate HDD, it has Seagate 1TB HDD with the rotational speed of 5400 rpm. The 15.6” TN LED display with the HD + resolution is one of its main features. Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has the same TN LED panel display as the previous models of Samsung Series 7 has and Samsung claim it to be the “super bright”, on their website.

The Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has a TN LED panel Display which is same b/t Samsung Series 7 700Z5C and the previous models and has the same lacks as well. The screen has the resolution of 1600x900 which is also described as HD + .The screen is bright enough for indoor and outdoor use and pictures looks perfect, the white one but when viewing black background images. The lack comes forward and it looks very odd, as background look more dark grey color instead of black and that the problem which comes with all TN LED panels. The viewing angles are not the best and the color changes frequently and that is not good when you watch the movie with your friends. Overall the screen is not good.

The Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has a Chiclet , backlight keyboard which looks really perfect for nigh usage as well. The light can adjusted according to needs as it has 8 levels. The keys are large enough to make me satisfied and no problem what so ever with the miss tap. The Numeric key pad is also available alongside. The touch pad is very nice as the previous models of Samsung Series 7 has and the multi touch gesture is really fine and that is really good. Overall the Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has great keyboard and touch pad.

The Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has not the very great speakers as the other models does but the volume is improved in Samsung Series 7 700Z5C as well as quality of sound but the output is lacking and that won’t please me. The speakers are enough for watching the movie with friends in a room. Overall the speaker Samsung Series 7 700Z5C are good but not very good.

The Samsung Series 7 700Z5C runs quite cool and calm during our tests and remain within the acceptable limits while we run few games and chat over skype and some benchMarks and some video editing stuff to put some stress on it and it remain cool during the idle mode as well as under load but still need some improvements. The fan noise of Samsung Series 7 700Z5C remain under acceptable level and very low during the idle mode but raises during stress work but not to worry much as its still ignorable.

The Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has good connectivity options available for users. It has Multi card slot at the front, nothing on the back and on the left side it has a DC-in, a HDMI , a Ethernet port, 2x USB 3.0 ports, a audio jack and VGA DONGLE port while on the right side, it has only a USB 2.0 port for connectivity. Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has a Bluetooth 4.0 and a high speed “n” band wifi as well. Over all the Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has great connectivity option but a full VGA port would be a good option.

The battery of Samsung Series 7 700Z5C is a 8-cell li-ion battery of 90 Wh and it perform really great in our battery test, it lasted for about 475 minutes which is really enough for everyone and that is really great, we run every kind of task as Microsoft Office work, HD Movie, audio songs, document typing, some gaming etc. to get the more realistic result according to what a normal use is going to do on this laptop. Overall the battery life of Samsung Series 7 700Z5C is top class.

The Samsung Series 7 700Z5C has perform really well in BenchMarks and remains cool and quite and the excellent battery life of 475 minutes is also a just point. The problem is the display, which lacks when it comes to picture quality and color, with 1600x900 resolution. The keyboard and touchpad is nice. The speakers are good but audio output is not great as expected .The Samsung Series 7 700Z5C is good for business men and students but not for professional graphics designer and video editors because of display. The thing which stop me to give it Editor’s choice award is its bad display with respect to image quality.
