Asus G75VX-T4020H Review + BenchMarks ~ Saad Reviews (Reviews + Benchmarks)

The laptop market is really proved to be a gold mine these days and every brand want to digs as much as it can to get maximum benefits from the season as its on the peak and that is why the market is full of every kind of laptops as well and people are buying more than the previous seasons and today now we are going to review the ASUS gaming laptop which is Asus G75VX-T4020H. It has been in the talks from couple of weeks. Today we are checking its limits.

Asus G75VX-T4020H has a great design and color as other ROG laptops. The black plastic used for lid and outer body with a silver plating for keyboard is a nice idea and it really matches the overall design and makes my eyes feels good. The ROG style is really nice and attractive for Enthusiasts. The body does not allows the finger prints to remain. The base is really good and the solid body is strong enough to absorb some miner shocks and scratches. The rear is a little large in size for giving it more ROG look. Overall the design is really cool of Asus G75VX-T4020H.

The Asus G75VX-T4020H has a greater size (17” full HD 1080p) screen which is great for gaming and watching HD movies as well and the brightness is really good of its TN LED display. The contrast is a little low and that is not bad at all but just below than expected level. The screen is good for outside working and has no problem while usage in sun light. The viewing angles are good for viewing from sides but may cause problems when viewing from above or down of the idle level.

The keyboard of Asus G75VX-T4020H is of large size with num pad as well and the keys are large enough for fast typing and navigation and specially gaming as well. The key are very responsive and does not miss a tap during our tests. The touch pad is of larger size as well and very responsive. It never misses a touch during our test and multi touch functionality is also great with nice buttons as well, they keyboard and touch pad are really nice for gaming as well.

The speaker are not really good and it seems that the speaker are not producing the expected sound whereas subwoofer is really good but this problem has no effect if you want to watch movie but when playing the games, the problem comes in front clearly. This problem remains in G series from few previous models and it still exist in this model as well.

The Asus G75VX-T4020H has a good heat control and the fan is really throughout the heat away and keeps the Asus G75VX-T4020H run cool in idle mode and while gaming it runs cool than the others that is really great as some people frustrate due to heat but Asus G75VX-T4020H is not going to disappoint them. The fan’s noise is louder under heavy load and its normal for gaming laptops but the noise is still high when laptop run the normal tasks and that is the only problem.

As for as connectivity is concern, the Asus G75VX-T4020H has an optical drive, 2x USB 3.0 ports, SD card reader and 2x audio jacks for in/out on left and on the back side/rear Asus G75VX-T4020H has only Kingston lock while on the right side it has AC-in, HDMI, 2x USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet port and Thunderbolt port and a VGA port, it also has Bluetooth 4.0 and wifi of “n” band for high speed communication as well. Overall Asus G75VX-T4020H has everything which you may need and especially thunder bolt is a heavy bonus as well.

The battery life of gaming laptops is not much longer usually but the 74 Wh, 8 Cell Li-ion battery of Asus G75VX-T4020H lasted for about 250 minutes which is really good for a gaming notebook is concern. We run pretty much every tasks which, a daily user does like MS office work, HD movie, gaming, internet surfing via wifi etc. to get more realistic results.

The Asus G75VX-T4020H is a great gaming laptop from ASUS and nice increment in ROG laptops and G series. Asus G75VX-T4020H Performs really great and solid connectivity with thunder bolt is a great feature as well. The major problems are speakers and loud fan noise. Overall Asus G75VX-T4020H is a great gaming laptop with latest components inside. The problem which stops me to give it Editor’s Choice Award is Speakers.
