Notebooks are the most searched topic and most people do some much research especially in America, Canada and other European countries these days. When I ask few people about their ideal notebook, i.e. what are the components or features they want to have in their personal notebooks. They replied me with some expected answers, all of them want their notebook to be faster but light weight and that is the same as my opinion and of most people who like mobility. The notebook is really hot these day and people are buying much more than past. As every brand has introduced its notebooks so competition is very tough among them and that thing cause some good notebooks being launched with less price. ASUS is also famous for its quality build notebooks so today we review another ASUS notebook, Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A.
Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A has a nice backlight keyboard which is of decent size for any 13.3 inch notebook and the size of the keys is also good to type and the performance of the keyboard was really goof=d during the typing test and it done really great, Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A has a good comfortable keyboard for the users to type accurately and with speed as well. The touchpad is of large size than expected from a 13.3 inch notebook with the function of multi touch, you can’t just do good with the touchpad of small size so Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A did not disappoint us in this aspect as well. The buttons are integrated into the surface and they also perform really well. The touchpad work very well in the multi touch test and overall we have no problem what so ever with touchpad and keyboard.
As far as speakers are concerned, Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A has good speakers and when we play few songs and watch a movie with our friends, dialogue came through loud and clear. When we streamed a Spotify playlist, though, music sounded rather tinny and harsh. With volume maxed out, you'll be able to fill a medium-sized room, but a pair of external speakers will go a long way toward a better party. Over Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A has pretty decent speakers.
Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A remain very cool in our temperatures tests and the notebook remain very cool during the idle mode but the temperatures around the notebook and surface raise during the stress test but not to worry because they remain quite under the danger level. The Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A remains cool and the normal user will face no problem regarding to temperatures. The noise produced by the fan was very low in the idle mode and it also remains low than some of the other notebook when the notebook was running in stress test. The noise remain inconsistent and it decreases some times which is a little distracting but not much and really it cannot disturb you if you watch HD movies on Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A.
Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A is really ultrabook to have and it is very thing and light weight with nice body and attractive design as well. It has good backlight keyboard and touchpad and speakers. Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A has good battery life. It has no the optical drive, VGA and Ethernet port but for a ultrabook you have to compromise on some things but ASUS should not exclude the Ethernet port.
