The notebooks have become integral part of our daily lives and we know that as well but why people are not satisfied with their notebook performance and they changed their notebooks after every month?. ASUS is a well famous brand for its quality built, solid performer products including their attractive and performer notebooks. As ASUS starting to build notebooks many years ago, people have more options for their requirements and budget. Today we are going to review an ASUS notebook which is Asus A56CB.

The ASUS A56CB has a full size keyboard i.e. including numpad. The keyboard is basically a Chiclet style keyboard with backlighting. The keyboard has pretty decent size keys which is good. The keys are of black color key with nice key stroke and good pressure points make is very useful for fast typing with good accuracy as we do not find any problem is typing accurately with the keyboard of ASUS A56CB. The touchpad is also of pretty decent size. It is not a clickpad and but keys are integrated into surface and separated by a white line on the surface. The touchpad also done well in our navigation and multi-gesture tests. Overall ASUS A56CB has nice keyboard and touchpad.
The ASUS A56CB has two stereo speakers which are located just above the keyboard and they are basically SonicMaster speakers as ASUS mention and they also mention “Crystal Clear Sound” and the speakers has decently high max volume level. The quality of the sound is not good as expected and base is of standard level but inconsistent whereas ASUS mention “Deep and Rich Base” which is not fulfilled as we test. Overall ASUS A56CB has just standard level speakers but not as good as mention.
As the Asus A56CB has body made with aluminum so temperatures are expected to be a bit high and they are a bit high in idle mode, when we run normal tasks, the temperatures were not suitable to use the notebook on the lap in load so we recommend to do not use Asus A56CB on the lap either load or idle working. The fan of Asus A56CB produce low noise in the idle mode as expected and it turn off some times in idle scenario. The noise in load was also acceptable and it was not enough to distract so it runs quiet than many notebooks we have reviewed so far. So Asus A56CB run quiet but not as cool to be used on lap.

ASUS A56CB has a very nice attractive design and it has very good connectivity options including USB 3.0 but Bluetooth is not available which can be ignore as we do not use Bluetooth much. The speakers are decent but inconsistent sound quality. The display is quite suitable for indoor use but outside usage is quite difficult. It has good battery life and the Keyboard and touchpad are very nice and responsive as well. The notebook performs well in our benchmark tests. The ASUS A56CB has some good/ bad things which are mention above and you are the one who is gonna make the decision of buying ASUS A56CB or not but in my opinion, ASUS A56CB is suitable for lower mid level users, anyway need some advice then don’t hesitate to contact us.
