Well, the gaming notebooks are really a great thing for the gamers and who is there who likes to play games but keep sitting in front of their desktops. The ASUS, Alienware and MSI are two main brands in gaming laptop category but there are some new brands which are coming in the market which gives the users more options and variety as well. IBuyPower is a new brand in gaming notebook market with respect to ASUS, Alienware and MSI but they made very nice laptops as IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 which is today’s best on the bench for review so lets take a look at it.

The IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 is a 17.3 inch notebook and of gaming category so a full keyboard with numpad should be use and it is. The keyboard is basically backlit Chiclet style keyboard with backlighting of blue color which improves the overall looks. The size of keyboard and keys is quite large. There is some changes in keys like right Enter key, zero key of numpad etc. are smaller in size. The feedback of the keyboard is good enough and absolutely perfect pressure points make the keyboard perfect for gaming or navigation. There are also some special touch-sensitive keys for special purposes. The touchpad is also quite large but the bad thing is that it does not support the multi-gesture feature but it has good flat surface which proves to be good in results. The touchpad done really well and the keys are also good as well. The responsive touchpad is great for gaming but multi-gesture feature is not supported. Overall IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 has good keyboard and touchpad but without multi-gesture feature.
The IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 has really good audio solution as it has five speakers, two above the keyboard, two on front edge and one sub-woofer is on the bottom side of the notebook. The speakers had the THX certificate and their utility software is also provided for controlling/ tweaking the audio according to desire of user. The sound quality is really nice and cool perfect base with loud max volume make it a perfect notebook audio solution whereas external speaker offer much better results but the audio produce by speakers of IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 are good enough. Overall IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 has great audio solution.
The IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 has pretty good low temperature all around the notebook, of surface and components. The IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 runs really cool in the idle working scenario. The IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 runs a bit warmer in the load working scenario but still a bit lower than the most of the gaming notebooks from ASUS, Alienware and MSI which is a good thing. The notebook can be used on the lap while idle working but not during load (gaming). The noise produced by the fan of IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 was always audible during the idle working but that is a common thing among the gaming notebooks in the idle working. The noise was quite audible during the load (gaming/ benchmarks). The noise raised more when the clock speed boost-up so it is a noisy notebook under load. Overall IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 runs cool but louder.

The IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 is really a good gaming notebook and we really appreciate the effort of IBuy. The IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 runs really cool than most of the gaming notebook while gaming (load). The display screen is 1080p and it’s quite suitable for gamers. The speakers (4 Speakers + 1 Sub-woofer are absolutely fantastic. The performance of IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013 in our benchmarks is really nice and the great connectivity options including, High speed Ethernet, 3x USB 3.0 and eSATA is also a plus point in the favor of IBuyPower Valkyrie CZ-17 2013. It has good 321 minutes of battery life which is good enough for gaming notebooks. The problem is that it runs quite louder in the load working scenario and the touchpad does not support the multi-gesture feature.
