The Samsung Series 4 400B5C is a 15.6 notebook so it should had a full size keyboard with separate numpad but Samsung decides to make the keys larger instead of numpad. The overall size of the keyboard is large and keys are larger too. The keyboard is basically Spill resistant keyboard as they mention on their website. The keys are pretty responsive and overall keyboard is pretty suitable for fast, accurate typing but backlighting is not available so working in night time will be a bit difficult. The touchpad is same as we had seen in their some previous models and in many Lenovo notebooks. The size of the touchpad is pretty decent and keys are separated physically by a line. The surface of the touchpad is not ideal for finger gliding and you can feel it easily but somehow touchpad is quite responsive and precise. The Samsung include Track pen as well which is present between B,G,H keys and it is quite difficult to use it accurately as it s position and shape of the keyboard keys but its always good to have it. Overall Samsung Series 4 400B5C has pretty decent keyboard and touchpad.
The Samsung Series 4 400B5C has two stereo speakers which are located above the keyboard and Samsung really improve the speakers in Samsung Series 4 400B5C notebook. The speakers produce really high max volume and the bass is pretty decent. The sound quality is very pleasant and they are enough for watching a movie in a room but still usage the external speakers is always better for best quality. Overall Samsung Series 4 400B5C has nice speakers.
The Samsung Series 4 400B5C has pleased us by its very low temperature of surface and components as well. We measure pretty low temperature in the idle working scenario and they still remain quite low in the load working scenario as we run the benchmarks but still temperature remains quite low and Samsung Series 4 400B5C can be used on the lap without any problem. The fan of Samsung Series 4 400B5C produces very low noise in the idle mode and you can rarely hear that and it is pretty good for the concentration required work. The noise in the load working scenario was well under the distraction level and it will make any problem while concentrating on the work or watching any HD movie while doing many other things. Overall Samsung Series 4 400B5C remains quiet and cool.
