ASUS N76VZ Review + BenchMarks

Laptop has become very important part of the daily life today as people are more dependent of laptop and prefer to have a laptop than a desktop because of its mobility and you can carry it anywhere you want whether to office or to university etc. Some people likes to play the games but they don’t have time to come back home and play games on their desktops so they prefer to buy a gaming laptop which gives them facility to play games when ever and where ever they had free time. ASUS has been a top brand from many years, they such a great GPUs as well as laptops. Today we are going to review a gaming laptop from ASUS which is ASUS N76VZ.

ASUS N76VZ has a good looking aluminum body with nice brushed surface and the silver color of the keyboard area with the combination of black all around is really a nice combination to me. The body is solid enough for a notebook. The design is obviously different from their G series gaming notebook. The lid back is well finished and the bottom of the notebook is just not perfect and requires some improvements but its not  bad at all. Overall the ASUS N76VZ has a nice design.

ASUS V76VZ has a 17.3 inches CMO1720 display of 1080p resolution. The 1080p resolution has become necessary for a gaming notebook. The display is really good whether its brightness or the picture quality. The brightness is enough to watch movies indoor or outdoor. The reflection of the screen is very acceptable to me and the items on the screen are easily view able in outdoor location. The viewing angles are just enough and we have not experience any problem with regards to viewing angles when watch movie with some friends. Overall the display screen is just good enough and with the resolution of 1080p, it is just perfect for gaming.

ASUS V76VZ has keyboard of decent size and the numpad is also available which must for any gaming notebook is because we can’t do the combination key work while gaming and it really feel awkward when playing games. It does not have large size keys but fairly decent size of keys make the typing really easy and surfing online and also the arrow keys are just perfect and the accurate typing looks to be the target of ASUS. The touch its size, its slipperiness or its roughness might be at the origin of this rating. The touchpad button does not seem to rank high neither, and problems with either precision or smoothness will make extensive use a modest experience. Overall the keyboard is great but touchpad needs improvement.

The speakers are really good of ASUS V76VZ and the sound quality is just awesome. The volume is fairly laud and you can easily hear the sound of the clicks and tone which can be set for specific tasks and for copy complete. The audio output of the ASUS V76VZ is really nice and the speakers also works well when we watch movie with some friends during the tests. Overall the speakers and audio output of ASUS V76VZ are above the expected level.

The ASUS V76VZ is not bad at all when it comes to heat production for a notebook. ASUS V76VZ runs really cooler than expected during the ideal test mode and the temperatures were still under the problematic level during the stress tests. The fan of ASUS V76VZ works well to keep the temperatures low as possible. The noise produced by the fan while ideal test mode was as expected and the ASUS V76VZ remain quiet as possible but the noise was really audible when we run the stress tests and during the gaming but that is not bad at all because it does not have those big vent to through the heat away and that is normal for a notebook of this size.

As far as connectivity is concern, the ASUS V76VZ has some great options for the users, it has 2x audio ports, 2x USB 3.0 and a Kingston lock and optical drive on the right side, on the left side it has 2x USB 3.0, HDMI, Ethernet port, VGA and AC jack for power adaptor. It also has Wifi of “n” band and Bluetooth 4.0 for high speed wireless connectivity as well. Overall the ASUS V76VZ has really great connectivity option for user, enough for me.

The battery of ASUS V76VZ is basically 56 watts, li-ion 6 Cell battery which lasts for about 289 minutes which is really good as we run all kinds of tasks as a normal user does on his notebook for example we do some Microsoft office work, typing while playing audio songs, watching HD movie, some gaming and benchmarks work as well etc. to get the more realistic result as we can. Overall the ASUS V76VZ has good 289 minutes of battery life.

ASUS V76VZ is really great gaming notebook and it does what ever task we run on it with ease and efficiently and quickly. It is just to good for gaming and performs really great in the benchmarks as well. The only problem it has is the touchpad which is not really good. The audio, connectivity, gaming, watching HD movies are not hard for ASUS V76VZ to handle. Overall it is really great gaming notebook and deserve the Gold Award from SaadReviews.
