We have seen the things changing dramatically in the notebook market and its full of many kinds of notebooks. Some people are went into the market without doing the proper research and that is why they are not satisfied with the performance of their notebooks especially the people of the Asia. Choosing the perfect notebook according to your need is work like searching a needle in the desert but if you compromise on some things than there are wide options for you but the main thing is that it should perform when you want it to do. Today we are going to review an Acer notebook which is Aspire V3-571G.

Aspire V3-571G has nice black and silver color scheme which is quite attractive and the whole notebook has overall nice professional looking design which is nice. The major area has been made by aluminum and the base has been made with the plastic. The hinges are good looking but not strong enough to handle the display. The surface of back of the lid is shiny black which is good for attraction but it easily takes the finger print on it and scratches will be the major problems. The side of the notebook are well manages but there is some softness around the optical drive. The most of the parts of notebook has been colored black but area around the keyboard and sides has been colored silver which give it perfect professional looks.Overall Aspire V3-571G has decent design.

Aspire V3-571G has a 15.6 inch display which is basically IPS TFT LG display offers the resolution of 1920x1080 which is really great for this kind of notebook. The Aspire V3-571G has greater resolution display which is nice thing. The display is IPS which is known for its wide viewing angles and image quality. The display has high contrast ratio and the brightness is also very nice and we had no problem to work outdoor in sunlight. The display also has nice image quality and we do not find any issue except a little problem near the left lower edge which is ignorable and you can’t properly see that and that is not detectable unless you view high resolution image like (15-20 MP images). Overall the display is quite nice.

The Aspire V3-571G has a nice large keyboard with the numpad as Acer always include the numpad with the keyboard of 15+ inch notebooks. All the keys are large and they are really responsive. The size is also quite large and we do not find any problem while typing fast and the nice feedback from the keyboard also feels you good. The only thing which may cause miss tap Is the key space between the up/down arrow keys. The touchpad is also quite large and we find it really good. The keys are not integrated into the surface and they are separated. The keys are also very nice and responsive. Overall Aspire V3-571G has nice keyboard and touchpad.

The Aspire V3-571G runs cool in the idle mode, normal working but it runs hot when the notebook was under stress and its not quite good to use it on the lap. The Aspire V3-571G has high temperatures when it was running the benchmarks stuff and we test it through the limits. The noise of the fan is note audible in the idle mode but the fan produce much nice when notebook runs some heavy/ complex application such as benchmarks which push it to the limits. The noise of the fan was much louder and surely it can distract you while doing any work which requires attention. Overall Aspire V3-571G runs cool and quiet in idle mode but runs louder and at high temps under load.

The Aspire V3-571G has pretty good stereo speakers above the keyboard, near to display which is ideal position for the speakers on any kind of notebook. The speakers are loud enough for the movies and games but a low base is there. The quality of the sound is also pretty decent for this kind of notebook and if you want best sound than go ahead with external speaker system. Overall Aspire V3-571G  has decent speakers.

The Aspire V3-571G has good options for today’s modern and fast connectivity requirements. It has Bluetooth 4.0 and Wifi for the high speed wireless communication. The Aspire V3-571G has 2x USB 3.0, optical drive, Kingston lock at right side and on the left side, it has 1x USB 2.0, HDMI, AC-in and Ethernet port and audio ports for the users. Aspire V3-571G has card reader at the front. Aspire V3-571G does not have a display port which is O.K. when you had HDMI but no VGA may be a problem for some people. Overall Aspire V3-571G has all the necessary connectivity options.

Aspire V3-571G has a lithium-ion battery of 6 cell which has the capacity of 48 watts for storage of power. The battery manage to keep it running for about 198 minutes during our tests which is not good to me. We run all the task for example, MS-Office work, typing while listening audio songs, photo editing, some gaming and watching HD movie/ Clips, surfing the web via Wifi etc. to get the most realistic results regarding to real life scenarios.

Aspire V3-571G has all the connectivity options for the user and it has nice attractive design but scratches could be a problem. It has decent the necessary connectivity option except VGA as well as it performs well in Benchmarks. It has nice IPS 1080 display which is quite good and the speakers are also decent. The Aspire V3-571G has nice keyboard and touchpad as well but battery life is not good as expected. So overall Aspire V3-571G is not a bad choice but the final decision of buying it or not depends upon your needs and budget.

  • Good performance.
  • Decent connectivity options.
  • Good keyboard and touchpad.
  • Decent speakers.
